Boundaries

Having difficulty expressing your needs, standing up for yourself, or do you have a desire to be less emotionally reactive? Feeling that you “lose” yourself in relationships? Do you tend to over-give, feeling depleted and maybe resentful? Or do you feel like your boundaries are less flexible and you have a difficult time letting your guard down?

I offer individual therapy to help you explore your emotional boundaries and identify areas where communication can be improved. My approach to therapy brings attention to the emotional, relational and physical experiences you are having as well as looking thoughtfully and compassionately at your history, patterns, and the strengths and growing edges that you bring. In session you can practice new behaviors, communication styles, boundaries, emotional explorations and ideas. Somatic Psychotherapy can be very helpful as it allows to to have a “felt sense” of what your energetic boundaries are in relation to others.
