Do you feel stressed often and have difficulty winding down?

Are you wanting to find ways to feel more emotionally resourced and grounded?

You might be here because...

  • Your mind is constantly running through every possible outcome.

  • You find yourself overthinking conversations long after they've happened.

  • You're exhausted from trying to keep everything under control.

  • You know you're worrying more than you'd like, but can't seem to turn it off.

  • You're avoiding situations because they feel overwhelming.

Imagine...

Making decisions without endlessly second-guessing yourself.

Setting a boundary without spending the rest of the day wondering whether you upset someone.

Being able to sit with uncertainty without immediately needing to fix it.

Feeling more connected to yourself instead of constantly trying to keep everything under control.

Therapy isn't about never feeling stressed again. It's about building a life in which stress doesn't take over your emotions.

Stress, in and of itself, is a normal and necessary response that can help us stay alert, make decisions, and can be help us be motivated.

While stress becomes problematic when it becomes difficult to relax even after the initial stressors have passed or if your system in a constant high stress state.

For example, you may be thinking anxiously thinking about interactions in your day or projects at work even while you are on vacation or while trying to fall asleep. You might feel on edge even when you are trying to relax. You might notice that the stress impacts you physically, emotionally and interpersonally.

Some stressors are momentary, passing with time or once the issue is resolved. For example, once a presentation or project is completed, you might feel fine. For others, stress can become chronic, leading to long-term issues such as anxiety, depression, or sleep disturbances.

Whether it's replaying difficult conversations with your partner, or feeling overwhelmed by an ever-growing to-do list, excessive stress can disrupt your ability to relax and recharge, potentially leading to burnout and emotional exhaustion.

When stress begins to affect your personal life, by causing sleepless nights, eroding your sense of self-worth, or impacting your personal relationships, it may be time to address the issue.

Therapy can be a place to...

Understand what's happening
Explore the patterns behind your stress rather than simply trying to suppress the symptoms.

Build new ways of responding
Develop tools for navigating difficult thoughts, emotions, relationships, and situations.

Feel more at ease in your life
Work toward being less controlled by fear, worry, or the need to have everything figured out.

We might explore:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry

  • Perfectionism

  • People-pleasing

  • Boundaries

  • Self-esteem

  • Relationship patterns

  • Major life transitions

  • Fear of uncertainty

Mind & Body

We don't experience life only through our thoughts. Emotions, memories, and experiences can also live in the body. Being aware of how your mind and body are connected can help you notice what your system is communicating and how to best support it.

A Different Way of Being With Yourself

Therapy can be a place to slow down. To listen more closely. To understand the parts of yourself that have learned to protect you and to begin relating to yourself with greater compassion.

My approach brings together Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. These practices offer different pathways into the same deeper work: becoming more connected to yourself, your body, and what you truly need.

Curiosity & Compassion

Through an IFS-informed lens, we can become curious about the different parts of you: the part that worries, the part that strives, the part that is guarded or protecting you, the part that feels overwhelmed, etc. Instead of seeing these parts as problems to eliminate, we can begin to understand what they are trying to protect.

Presence & Awareness

Mindfulness offers a way to become more present with your inner experience. Rather than getting swept away by thoughts or emotions, we practice noticing what is here in the present moment with openness and less judgment creating more room for exploration and understanding.

Safety & Trust

Trauma-informed care means honoring your story, your boundaries, and your pace. There is no expectation that you need to share more than feels right or move faster than you're ready for. We work collaboratively, building a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, trust, and respect.

The goal isn't to become someone different. It's to come home to yourself.
